Dove season in Puerto Rico.

Well went saturday dove hunting with my uncle to the southern part of the island. It was one of my uncles friend farm so we had unlimited acess to the facilities. It was a sun flower seed farm and when I tell you the doves looked like clouds Im not bluffing. They were soo many that it took me like 2 hours to reach the daily limit of 15. It was my first time hunting any kind of game and i tell you im hooked for life!! Everyone had a blast and reached there limits with no problem, So all in all we had a great time with family and friends. Cant wait to go again next saturday!

Work has put the kabosh on the season here so far. Does the weather (hurricanes) have any effect on them down in PR?

Man, Ike was on the north of the island maybe 300 miles out and sucked all the air. I almost fainted one time because the heat + humidity was awfull!! I was shooting only the birds that would land near me jejeje. thanks god we havent had any hurricane in a while so everything was just perfect.

Jack, sadly I had to run out of the house because the wife wanted to do some house shopping and had a hard time convincing her to let me go so as son as she changed her mind I ran out of the house and forgot to bring my camera.

Those are illegal to hunt here, but here is the list of doves we are able to hunt: Red Necked Pigeon, Zenaida Dove, White-winged Dove, Mourning Dove
