Hey Texas T Guns & Dobes/ her user name; gave me an idea ya'll may or may not like it but I thought I'd "run it up the flag pole and see if anyone salutes"
I think a good name change for "The Woman's Fourm" would be GUNS & DOLLs what do you ladies think?

No, I think it's AH. He smells of stale beef jerky and hai karate.

Btw, good idea Cyrille. I have no power to change things though.

Hi! I'm Manda. I figured that I should post some kind of intro since I have already been added to the list.
I love to shoot my guns and I love to cross stitch(great combo huh?). I will shoot anything that goes boom, whether it be a small boom or a big one. I have been shooting since I was four years old and still have my first rifle(which I will be buried with). My favorite gun right now is my Romanian PSL, with any of the three shootable Mosins in second place (I have four Mosins but I can't figure out what round the fourth one chambers). I really like the crusty old war guns. My husband says that I am the easiest woman to buy for; I would rather have guns than diamonds.

Hope everyone's New Year was a good one!!!

Welcome, Manda! We have similar tastes although you are ahead of me in the old crusty gun collection count. I only have one, a Swiss K31, but I wouldn't trade it for anything (ok, I'd consider trading it for a Garand... maybe). And like you, if I get diamonds I'd prefer they be in a gun stock, although that is really tacky so I'd end up prying them out and selling them for more guns.

Hi MosinGirl and welcome. My husband says the same thing about me. He bought me 4 bayonets for Christmas to add to my collection of knives and a scoped .17hmr rifle. I was a happy camper.

I love the Mosins, also. How about posting a picture of them?? I'd love to see what your mystery chamber Mosin looks like.

Welcome CalifgirlinOK. I bet you feel like you're living in a different world. Yes, there are a lot of us lady shooters out here with varying degrees of experience but all with one common interest. Sit back, enjoy and share your experiences with us and maybe have some fun and learn something along the way.

My pleasure. So what's your weapon of choice, CalifgirlinOK? You need to talk your family into moving east!

I hear you. The weather here has been miserable until this weekend. Instead of shooting, we spent the day and drove three hours round trip to attend a large gun show. Had fun, saw a lot of great guns, all shapes and sizes, spent too much money, you know the usual stuff.

I enjoy shooting 9mm and just bought a Glock 19 that I take possession of next Saturday. I enjoy 22's also but I really enjoy shooting my old Mosins and my Marlin 30.30.

Be patient with the grandkids. Buy them a one way ticket to Oklahoma.

I bet you were a HAPPY camper at the gun show!!! Enjoy your Glock 19.Let us know how she shoots for you.

Believe me I would LOVE to buy them all a one way ticket!!! It would cost a arm and a leg for 5 tickets but I would go in debt to get them here....
