It would be nice to think that a good ruling in the Supreme Court would soften the hearts of Illinois Law Makers, but I'm not holding my breath. Like Khahn, I really love the state as far as quality of living is concerned. What bothers me is that everyone in Cook County forgets that there is a whole state under them. It's not the state of Chicago, it's the state of Illinois. Sorry if there are Chicago folks reading right now. Nothing personal. Just an observation.

I read in an ISRA publication that Daley has a task force working with the State Police that is targeting households with more than one FOID card holder living in them in Cook County. I hope that trend does not catch on down state. We're controlled so tightly now we can hardly breathe as it is.
