Yeah, wish more women in my area got into like we do. I am getting real tired of being the only woman at the IDPA matches with 25 to 30 guys.

I somehow missed this before. Where in NJ are you from? Jersey City here, now living in NC.

Nice to see so many women joining the forum. I've been gone awhile. I'm busy working on my masters degree (MBA in Quality Management) but I decided to take a break and see what was on the forum. Welcome everyone.

Good huntin"

I just wanna say hello and just say being the only "chic" with all guys isn't always a bad thing especially when you win! I fish kayak tourneys and it's so sweet when me and my partner in crime beat the guys (my husband loves it!) Victory is Sweet! Are there any ladies in the Houston (TX) area? I'm new w/ my gun and need my lic. and some practice. Any tips?
Thanks Dd.

PS- add me to the roster.

Hi everyone! I'm Jia. I'm a 19 year old college student. I'm new to the gun world, but just bought my first rifle, a Romanian SKS I picked up in a pawn shop - I'm very fond of old soviet and foreign military arms. I'm not old enough to have a handgun yet. But I'm in the market for a Walther P22 as a plinker, and a Colt 1911 or a Glock in 9mm as a home defense weapon. Nice to see that other ladies are out there in the gun community. I live in the south, so I always get funny looks out at the range from all the guys. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.
