He's hoping to let the other candidates beat one another to a pulp while he lies low, not getting bloodied because he's not officially in the battle. Then he'll step in as the knight on a white horse, here to rescue us from all those other bums.

Sounds like a politician to me....wonder if he and Bloomberg have the same campaign manager?

Don't know about that, but his wife is getting hammered already for being much younger than him.

That's no problem to me; if he won he'd be expected to lead the country, not marry it.

To me, if a politician is blathering about marriage and family values while screwing around, he's fair game for being a hypocrite. But if he keeps his marriage and lifestyle reasonably private instead of waving it around for political purposes, I think it should stay private.

I agree 100% with that. If this is all they can find on him, maybe we'll have a winner that will lead our great country.

his ole lady is hot, no doubt. Those whining are just jealous they don't have ole ladies that hot! To me, his wife's age is a non-issue. Why it's a big deal to anyone is beyond my feeble brain's power to understand. Why not worry about real problems?

Fred Thompson or Ron Paul stand as much chance of being elected Commander and Chief today. As if George Washington or Abraham Lincoln were biding for the ticket nowadays. It's what can you give me plus charisma in the 08 election, like Hillary.I hope I'm wrong?

Rural people get out and vote or the pinks will be on us big-time.

Talking

Fred Thompson and Newt Gingrich. Perfect match! Would win landslide victory. Just what America needs.

I'm in the same boat, and I'd love to see Tancredo as VP

I think Fred is doing the smart thing, let all of the mud-slinging take out the light-weights and then step in when there's room to swing. The only thing that I can find fault with on Fred is his lobbying for abortion rights in the 70's.

Fred is going around talking to backers. He is explaining his platform, morals, and ethics. He wants to overhaul the tax code. He wants the border wall or fence put up now. He is also for some form of tort reform. All the things bleeding and hurting this country are his top priorities. He is a strong supporter of the Second Ammendment. Nuff said about Fred.

Just a quick observation: The Constitution says "Freedom of Religion",..............not freedom from religion!
