If they stop private sales at gun shows, then the next bite will be to stop all private sales.
McCain (in my opinion) is wanting to take away our rights, just not as fast as the others.
Either way you go, your great grandchildren will NOT own arms.

It’s a little bite here and a little bite there.
A compromise here a compromise there.
“I don’t like/shoot that kind of a gun anyway so it don‘t affect me.”
“That restriction is OK. It might help control crime”
“This person is the lesser of the evils.” evil is still evil!

In the end, down the road, it ends up with America disarmed. When that time comes, the majority of the people will think that they don’t need them anyway. A few will and (again just my opinion) curse our generation and the two before us.

Right on Lee, that is exactly what happened in the UK!
A little bit at a time, Semi-auto rifles, then pistols, then large capacity pump & auto shotguns!! All on the pretext of making life safer for the general public and what happened................gun crime soared!!!!!
Even now, some are still trying to bring in restrictions on Air weapons, deactivated guns & replicas??????????????????????????

They still will not address the root causes of Armed Crime and care more about the "rights" of the criminal than the "rights" of the ordinary law abiding citizen.

The British shooting public were not organised, most didn't believe they needed any organisations so were not members, the organisations we had were so narrow minded and closeted that they did not care for shooting in general, only their own little niche discipline.
The good news is that the ones that are left & still shooting are the Die-hards, who have adapted, improvised and are slowly fighting back & gaining support from other members of the public who are at last seeing the truth.

So stand up & be counted, join your Shooting organisations and don't take any more of this crap from the politicos! Let's make the Majority actually Rule for a change!!

Rant over!

WE are at a great turning point in history right now. WE are the ones that are going to determine if our great grandchildren have the right to bare arms. ALL other issues will come and go, BUT once 2A has been taken away, it will never come back and WE will be to blame.
Maybe it is just too late now. I don't see any TRUE progun people running for office.
A "compromise" is an infringment.
This little bite is an infringment.

Probably Chuck Schumer (I don't know if I spelled it right and it is meant for sick humor)
