Thought this was humourous.

I thought this was pretty funny.

Los Angeles riots -- USA Today reported that many of the people rushing to gun stores during the 1992 riots were "lifelong gun-control advocates, running to buy an item they thought they'd never need." Ironically, they were outraged to discover they had to wait 15 days to buy a gun for self-defense.

The complete paper is here. A lot of good info on why "gun control" is wrong .

Notice that California's waiting period was fifteen days then, instead of ten? That's a little improvement, at least...

Still, little consolation when you expect the mob with torches and pitchforks showing up the next night . . .

The good folks of California need to kick the deadbeat politicos out and bring their state back into the US again.

Well, if these idiots dont have guns until they need them and are surprised that their pravious actions have done this proves they dont know what they are talking about. If they did a little research, they would have known and been prepared.

But as it stood, they were left unprotected by their own ignorace and if they had arms would probably have shot them selves anyway.

Two steps forward, one step back. Gain, one step and a lot of people appeased.

"The good folks of California need to kick the deadbeat politicos out and bring their state back into the US again."

The majority of the good folks of California must agree with those "deadbeat politicos", they keep electing them. Same as the gun grabbing northeast.

Well, Capt'n, you know what they say: A conservative is a liberal who's been mugged. I'm delighted that the antigunners got the Clue x 4 smack in the puss they deserved. What I really wonder is how many of them turned into true believers in the Second Amendment and how many of them "came to their senses" (read: 'returned to their delusions') after the rioting ended.

Good read, though. Thanks for posting it.

The anti-gunners are pushed ahead of the defense to attempt negotiations.
