| I agree, the best thing a pro-gun democrat can do is not vote. I'm voting for McCain simply to keep the Dems out. Another thing to realize here for Democrats and Republicans, Obama and Hillary both hate our guns!

| You might as well vote for someone who is dead. both of them will screw this country. There might even be people crying to have bush back. That is how bad both are. I would rather shoot myself in the head than vote obama. I would rather vote for hillary but then I would move to europe for more freedom.

| Yeah who really, really knows how anyone of the two demoncrates mightact once in office? Why s/he might do an "about face'" on the 2d amendment and decide that the gov't should supply A.K. 47's to anyone who wants one and can legally own one! But as Linus says "The moon might fall out of the sky." I believe Texas T has been "sippin too much "Texas Tea"! |

| Lost in the Ozone Again ![]() | I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind that o or h will attempt to do things to greatly hurt our country if either are elected into office. I have no doubt they will do their damndest to ban private firearm and/or ammo ownership. I have no doubt they will weaken our country. They are that kind of people.

| O OR H Howdy, I'm glad to see the discussion on the wire. I fought in Vietnam, My Uncles in Korea and WW2, Grandfather in WW1 so this is possible. I am willing to go to IRAQ, just so it won't come here to be fought on our soil. When 9/11 happened, I was ready to reenlist, but they don't take 60 year old men. My present wife asked me why and I told her. You don't want a fight here. I will vote for neither O or H. I will vote for whomever wants our country to be the best in peace and war. To have peace-train for war. Inflict more damage than inflicted on you. I think if Pakistan won't give up Osama-then we go get him and bomb the crap out of Pakistan. Let the world think what it will think. Defend the countries who helped us out, like Great Britain, Australia, etc. We have enough munitions to care of the baddest country will to stand up and take a punch. Then go in and take them out. To stop the violence and bombing-blast the crap out them, from the first one to yell. I like larryo, and the rest who knows what needs to be done. I'm willing to pay the price, like I did when I en-listed. Keep up the good postings! John Krzos Tincan Sailor Trusty Shellback Vietnam 65-66(When I left--we were winning) |

| I hope more people start to do their own research and not rely solely on the news or his campaign website for information about Obama. He is intentionally misleading the American people about his record and his stance on important issues like the Second Amendment: $91,421,220 (Total Earmarks in Fiscal Year 2008, Barack Obama solo and in conjunction with other senators) **By contrast, Hillary had spent about $342 million in earmarks and McCain $0 in earmarks New Spending Proposed by Barack Obama: $286.999 billion Clinton: $218.154 billion McCain: $6.935 billion Ethics? Transparency? Source: National Taxpayer's Union (Their Website Details wasteful spending on behalf of all taxpayers) NTUF assumed the most conservative cost estimates of federal outlays based on a variety of sources, including the candidates' own projections; summaries from the Congressional Budget Office, Congressional Research Service, and the White House Office of Management and Budget; and results from equivalent legislation from NTUF's BillTally cost accounting system. Sound like "Change We Can Believe In"? Obama and the Right to Carry Here’s how the Chicago Tribune put it: “Obama said he opposed allowing ordinary citizens to carry concealed weapons and that a federal law banning concealed carried weapons except for law enforcement is needed.” “Common sense gun safety” and the Second Amendment? Like the draconian proposals funded to the tune of $18,000,000 by the rabidly anti-gun Joyce Foundation while Obama was an activist member of its board of directors. Obama’s alleged support of the Second Amendment is utterly cynical and false. Barack Obama is not for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms; he`s out to destroy it. This is from an NRA article which appeared in American Rifleman and can be found online at: http://www.nrapvf.org/News/Article.aspx?ID=286 This is merely a couple of examples of his disingenuous nature. I hope the American people come to their senses, because the msm is not going to expose him. One last thing: Whenever the War in Iraq is raised as an issue, Barack Obama proudly states that he was against the war from the beginning and reminds people that Hillary and the other candidates voted to go to war. That's all well and good, but he conveniently forgets to mention that he was not even a U.S. Senator at the time that the vote was held in 2003. He became a U.S. Senator in 2005, two years later. So, whenever he says that he didn't vote for the War in Iraq, remind yourselves that it means about the same as you or I saying that we didn't vote for the War in Iraq. Anyone who knowingly misleads and deceives the American people for the purpose of becoming the President should not be elected to the highest office in the land. If you do I will be better off and so will you. I will stay in power. do you hold these words as true ? Democrats say You cant do it with out me. You should be depedent on me. I will help you. If you do make it you will no longer need me. I will be out of a Job and out of Power. do you hold these words as true ? |

| For the first time in over 20 years I am actually considering not participating in the election. We usually have to choose between two candidates with distinctly different views. Within the differences of the candidates we are normally capable of discerning clear views that we either agree with or not. This election is different to me. As I consider the differences of the candidates I find myself lost in utter confusion. I am unable to find a single candidate that I think has an edge of any sort over any of the others, no lesser of evils if you will. The individual candidate’s records have all proven them to be less the trust worthy and show them to be more concerned with their personal agendas then the agenda of the people. The issues I believe to be important such as national security, the war, borders and immigration, my guns, and the environment I feel will not receive the appropriate attention from any candidate or their affiliated parties. This of course will leave me dissatisfied with the outcome of the election because no matter who wins we lose. |

| I was going to vote for Obama in the primary because I fear hitlery so much. Now I don't think I can vote for either and keep my sanity. I will just vote on the state and local level. Then in November I will vote for McCain, he will be the lesser of the evils.
