Attempted Robbery Stopped By Concealed Carry Holder

Imagine it’s a Saturday morning, and you need to go to the local auto parts store to pick up oil and filter so you can change the oil in your wife’s car.  Sure you rather be fishing or even at a local range, but when the honey-do list is set, there is no way around it.  You arrive at the store, and get the filter and oil simply standing in line when a wood-be masked robber comes in wielding a .357 magnum revolver, demanding cash. Another customer responds by taking his legally concealed firearm, shots were fired.  A window was shot, and the would-be robber is wounded in the leg.  The robber is stumbles out into the parking lot, where the police later catch up with him.

How would you respond to this situation? Would you thank the customer that was legally carrying concealed, or would you publicly belittle his actions?

We Remember 9/11/01

Ten years ago, close to 3,000 Americans lost their lives in the largest attack on American soil.  Today we take the time to tell the world we have not forgotten them.  The 3,000 souls lost were not soldiers in a combat zone, but innocent victims.

If you haven’t taken the time today to reflect where you were when the attack started on the twin towers, do so.  If you haven’t told the ones you love, that you love them, make time today.  To the brave soldiers, firefighters, first responders, police officers, and countless civil servants we thank you for your continued services in our communities.

Top Shot Season 3 Premiere

For years television that were supporting of the firearm industry were far and few between, nor did they last long either.  The History Channel, has offered firearm enthusiasts the chance to compete with some of the best outdoorsmen in the country.  In seasons past, a large portion of the competitors had national if not world titles associated with their names. Most of those were also former, retired or active duty military, which makes sense for some of the best marksmen to come from the worlds best military.

United States to United Nations: The Second Amendment Will Not Compromise!

The United Nations has declared war on the United States.  They aren’t targeting any specific building, bridge or military installation at this time, but at the very freedom that makes America the greatest country in the world.  We can’t trust the current administration to stand up against this ridiculous treaty.  The Arms Trade Treaty or ATT for short puts the ownership of civilian gun ownership into the same ranks of military firearm ownership.  (more…)
