My wife just told me she read an article, today, about old men dying of loneliness.

I said, "They are not dying of loneliness. They are dying for lack of money. If they had money, they wouldn't be lonely."

She got disgusted and left the room. LOL

Well, was I right, or what?

if you ever win the lottery, you'll be amazed at how many "friends" you'll see that you never even knew you had....

I'm still looking for a middle-aged 20 yr old that can live on half of what she makes.
Love needs money. Love means going places and having great experiences.
Money doesn't need love. I want precious metals, and I want to be alone sometimes.

And you can quote me on this....

"You can't buy friends, but you can surely rent them"

I'm not lonely, it's me, my guns, and lots of ammo. I am 60 years old and I spend a lot of time at the range shooting my guns. I suppose I aught shoot them up being that I do not have much time left to enjoy them. I rather shoot alone, this way I don't have to listen to the ills of other lonely men out there.

I have found in life that you have very few friends and a lot of aquaintances. I can count friends on one hand. One true friend I went to high school with. The last time I spoke with him was about 4 years ago. I still have his number and when I call or he calls we pick up where we left off the last time we talked.

Another friend I have had for 10 years. We talk every morning and thru out the day. We worked (he is still there) for the same company. He would call me every day to find out how and where I was (Working for a trucking outfit).

As it stands now I can be happy sittin by myself on my deck or in my back yard mowin the yard, workin in the garden, trimming trees. Happy just doin. The money only last for a short time. And all those so called friends you bought where are they? Yes, you bought them. Because if you hadn't told them of the money would they have been around? So if you have money, keep your mouth shut and don't say a word. And have all the fun you want by yourself.

Oh don't get me wrong I have paid for friends. There was Autum at Jill's in Dallas Pike WV, Then the little oriental gal at the Okanawa Message parlor in Youngstown OH (I paid two times there), then there was the little gal in SC. Oh wrong type friends LOL.

A read my quote at the bottom. Take what you can, give nothing back.
