i just bought an old red 4 hole turret press thats still in its original box.
    it has been used .
it came with everything else you could need to reload. even a trickler.
all the accessories are RCBS and still in their boxes.
it came with a whole bunch of different caliber dies.
    and a 8 quart tumbler.
    $180
when i get a chance to look through all the dies etc.
i will tell you guys more.
i think i have done well on this one.:09:

As if you havn't torn your wrist up enough with factory loads. Now you are going to to experiment with the hand cannon shells.

I can't remember, is the All-American set up for standard 7\8"x14 dies or the early small dies?

you did pretty good I bought one of those turret presses in 1980. it came in a "starter" kit, I think I paid about $150. I still use the press today. although I have had to replace many sets of dies over the years, the ole lyman still works fine.

Put Lyman Reloading on the search bar and they have a contact us deal.I have used it and they emailed back.I was looking in an old Lyman load manuel and they have a 6 hole press "SPAR-T" for $29.50 and the single stage I have for $13.50.I wonder if it is too late to get them at that price? sam.

I been keeping an eye out at the local pawn and gun shops for a decent reloader. Not really sure what to look for honestly but just gonna wait and see if i find something that looks good quality for a decent price and pick it up. Need to start reloading .40 and 223.

If .40 and .223 are all you are loading any press will get you started.Rhen you need a two die set for both, lee trimmer for both,a ballance beam scale(not Lee),a powder funnel,a lube pad and lube, the very finest steel wool(to clean casings),bl(c)2 powder (I like ball flake for small capacity casings)for the .223 and HS6 or similar powder for the .40,a primer seater and primers, small pistol and small rifle, lots of load books(you can get a lot of them free over the internet from powder and bullet co,s),and bullets for both, and empty casings. The rest is reading and practicing. In no time you can be master of your own reloading station. The hardest part is trying to be alone. You dont know how important you are until you try to be alone. sam. A deburring tool, how could I forget.

    Billy,
I have used a Lyman Turret press for 30 years now, set up for 2 calibers most of the time...
I can't remember ever seeing an Instruction book , found the Instruction in Reloading Manuals....
Great Press, a keeper for sure.
