I have sold 5 broken firearms in the past 2 weeks.
Not 1 haggler either, just gave me the cash and asked me basic questions.
So since most of these guys gave me the cash first, I felt obligated to tell them how bad the guns really were..and not one of them could have cared less...All I saw was the look I get when I have a new toy put in front of me..
Each guy had a different version of "No prob, i'll have her up in no time."
I wished them each good luck in parting..
I made $325.00 on broken guns and my safe is huge now..thank you baby Jesus..
All the pics are actual sales pics from me...( I know...)

    1. Mossberg 500a - Ejector arms not functioning (new ones didn't help either, gift from x-wife on our last xmas..it was cursed) I really abused that poor shotgun w/ bizarre loads and "special" stuff.

The gun shop I work at has a large rack of broken guns in the back but still visible from the counter. You'd be surprised how many people try to buy those things. That is after they ask what kind of gun is that one and point to the rack.

Just curious but what did you get for the 514? I'd have liked to have had it. Stuck lead bullets are no biggie.

I've bought broken guns before. I have a little single shot .22 that someone dumped off at the local shop and I got it for $20. It looked like it had been rode hard and hung up wet. The little thing looks pretty good now, although not complete by any means. I'm hoping to have it popping squirrels by the end of the summer.

Some people rebuild cars and some rebuild guns. :)

is some people's treasure. is some peoples son's. is the reason I moved to Alaska !!

Something I have started to really enjoy is buying crappy guns and cleaning them up for resale. I have made a few bucks doing it too! I just picked up a Savage 99 EG for a song. It looks like hell but the blueing is good the action is sound, bore is great! Just refinish the stock, clean it up, lube it and back on the sale rack!

Those old broken guns can be handy to have around. I have a couple just waiting for the gun buy to come to my area. These aren't worth 20 bucks apiece but I'll sell them to the gun snatchers for fifty or a hundred when they come by. LOL
p.s. I forgot, any money I get for turning them in will go for guns or ammo.
