This ought to be a fun little bug zap'n rig. It's the Savage MKII TR (Tactical Rifle) in .22 LR. It has a Redfield Battlezone 2x - 7x scope with bullet drop compensator when using with a 36 grain 1260 fps cartridge. A Harris 1A2 BRM bipod should help steady the beast.
I used Millet windage adjustable rings to mount the scope. I just got it mounted and bore sighted at 75 yards this morning. The adjustable rings allowed me to center the scope pretty dead on. I like that because I now have the complete turret adjustment range to play with when sighting in or when compensating for the wind.
Now I just got to chomp at the bit until I can get down to my place and do some shooting.
