A friend of mine said it is legal to shoot on public land north of Highway 10, but I haven't been able to find this info to confirm or to read specifics about the regulations. Would any of you be able to point me in the right direction to find this info? If it is true, I want to be sure I am shooting within the regulations. Thanks.

Also, Public Land would be posted if shooting was or was not allowed. There would also be a seasonal time limit for shooting. You can also do an internet check for public shooting ranges in your state. Its all listed for public knowledge.
