Thanks for the invite there, Frenchy. I'll take you up on it if I'm up your way! Old military rifles do float my boat.

      Hi Mark,
hey buddy if you ever come up Hwy. 132 (Yosimite blvd.) to the lakes or mountains you come right thru my little town of Waterford, I'd enjoy shooting with you, lota guys and gals say they would love to go shooting, but i guess these old military rifles don't float their boat like they do for me cause they never make the time to go...not nearly as fun by myself,
be careful in frisco my friend,
      Dale

PS. with the ammo and reloading components being hoarded i don't shoot much..waiting it out....just putt around on my scooter LOL

No, actually it is an arrowhead. Found by my grandfather when he was a kid, somewhere in east central Illinois or west central Indiana. It would take one heck of a bow to launch one of those into orbit!

I don't have a set schedule. Give me advance (like 2-3 weeks) notice and I can get any day off really. Even a week and I can switch shifts and stuff probably. It won't be for a while though cause I just started my job.

Been to Chabot once, it is a good place. Prefer Los Altos Rod & Gun club though $4 gasoline may have me going to Chabot more often. There is also Metcalf in San Jose but they limit you to 2 hours due to the small number of shooting stations.

Perhaps we could meet at Chabot some time but here's my difficulty - my days off work are Wednesday and Thursday, that does not work with people who have a more normal schedule. Getting a weekend day off is possible but not easy.

Have you ever been to the Chabot club? Do you know of any others around the Bay Area?
