      I've never been mushing, I used to live up in AK, but my folks couldn't support both the dogs and us kids at the time. The dog in in my avatar is Shasta, now 11 years old. She came from a rescue foster home. I'm not sure of her parentage but I believe she's malamute or malamute/sibe mix. Absolutely super, sweet girl.

      Appreciate the "Like". Been a few years since I did D&C with an M1, but my memory is still pretty good.

      Love the dog in your avatar! Malamute? I spent several years as a musher, 2 Malamutes and 11 Siberians. Pulled a 13 foot cargo sled like it was nothing. They are absolutely wonderful dogs.
