Still keeping Mike in business at Fin? Did he ever get his new store open yet? The website is still down. PM me if he did please!

I was looking at the ar 15 for deer hunting because in the last couple of years my dad has built a couple for himself and a couple for his friends. So for Christmas he bought me a ar lower, so I justed wanted to use it for something other than just at the range.

Yeah, I'm giving it serious thought. I need a show just for a break. Haven't hit one in a while and need a couple of scopes for those new 10/22's I got over the holidays.

Are you going? What time if so? My SIL, if he goes, tends to want to get there a little later so he can spend some time with his kids in the morning. I don't know if he wants to go yet.

Going to the Mansfield Gun show Saturday?

Nope. Didn't even know about it. We had Christmas for the same son who dragged me out of school at the end of the school year to see him get married in Florida - at an expensive golf course, Sawgrass, in hot weather, outside in the sun. Guess where he's going during the real Christmas?

Hey, Surgicaltech and I have been talking about putting together a Saturday visit to Woodbury Outfitters in Coshocton some Saturday after the holidays. Ever been there? Want to try join us? I have no idea when, it's just an idea at this point. We would probably meet at Bob Evans there for breakfast or something and then hit the store.

Did you make it to the Dec. Medina Gun show this weekend?

Going to Medina this weekend? I might Sunday.
BTW: I was born and lived in Mansfield for 30+ years. I used to be the Asst Mgr of the Gastown (Now Speedway) at the intersection of Trimble and 30. (Grew up near Olivesburg!)

Yeah, I got there Sunday. Picked up a scope with rings for my new old 10/22, a broken shell remover for the AR, nothing big. Mansfield??? Hmmm. Good possibility. Thanks for the reminder. They've been getting really hammered with snow over there, though. There is a guy on the Ohio forum who is one of the organizers of that one and another. USMC78 or something like that. He usually posts something about it. It might be worth PMing him about snow removal a the fairgrounds.

If you've never been there, watch for signs on 30. You get off the freeway, go north about 200 yards and turn left to find the place.

I wasn't offended by anything he said. I quoted his original post and asked, "what is the correct term".

I owe you an apology. I posted DocAitch's remarks on smelting on Cast Boolits. I had just read one of your posts and like a complete moron I gave you credit for it. When I went back later I realized what I had done and made the correction and posted an explanation of my mistake. I'm very sorry this happened. I humbly apologize. Jim

Yeah, spent a lot of my life about 1/2 mile from Lake Erie, just about 1/4 mile behind the high school - before the subdivision went in. Dad was smart enough to not build along the river, unlike the guy who lived next door for a few years and then built a nice new house literally on the river. He was the superintendent of the school system. Go figure.
