Hello, would you have any idea where to get a rear sight assembly for a Marlin 99M1? Marlin part # 507241, or an aftermarket equivalent? Thanks!!

If you Oh, and if U have an older 60/795, keep an eye on the recoil springs & buffer...change every 20 years or so,
or if you start having a lot of stovepipe issues that aren't ammo-related (Remington ammo)

      Good Luck!

just ordered recoil spring for my dads late 70s model 60.He has never replaced the recoil spring in it

Thanks for the info big shrek

Clean 'em as you would an AR15, as in, after every range visit/hunting trip.
Don't have to worry much about cleaning the barrel, just the action & those two divots on each side of the chamber,
& the trigger guard, which helps the feel of the trigger, as burnt powder gets down in there...
avoid Remington Rimfire ammo, very dirty and tends to be out of spec.
Periodically the tube mag and box magazines need to be cleaned out, I've used a .410 brush on the tube mag,
and the 795 mags are cleaned like any other box mag...

Thanks for the Accessories attaboy! When I first started researching my Marlins, there were very few items available,
and quite a few unknowns were lurking out there...as I started compiling lists, just made sense to put it all in ONE thread.
Speaking of which, I probably ought to add a bunch more stuff, as many things have happened over the last two years...
if you spot any new/previously unlisted Marlin items, feel free to add them to the thread :)
