TXpit, I have had three great compliments in my life and your's was one of them. It was on "refusing to feed the beast." Thank you.

Thank you for the "like" on my Lois Lerner thread. It is a subject that I am passionate about. I have to say I am very disappointed with Americans in general who give this agency a pass and even make excuses for them. How much richer this country could be if that heavy hand lifted off the people. Unfortunately people have become so indoctrinated that they make for themselves the very chains that bind them.

We both have seen this so very exploited to create special interests pulling at each other (mainpulated and supporting statists that pass laws supposedly on their behalf).

I sometimes wonder how very productive America could be if we'd stop spending so much time trying to figure how to screw someone out of something (with whatever rationalization one could come up with) as opposed to simply accepting our lives and doing things and making things.

But I don't think this in the cards anytime soon. At least we can raise OUR families the way we choose and believe and do the right things.

        All the best :)

A doctor had sex with one of his patients and felt guilty the next day. No matter how hard he tried to forget about it, his shame was overwhelming. However, he'd hear a reassuring voice in his head that said, "Don't worry about it. You aren't the first doctor to have sex with one of his patients. Then he would hear another voice in his head say: "You are a sick *******," it whispered, "and a terrible veterinarian!"

From one old Boeing driver to another, Howdy! Spent my Boeing years in 707's first, thence to the three holer based in Berlin. I would venture that you are probably a member of SWA? I am retired from both PanAm and later, DAL. Still consider myself a PanAm pilot....

Hey figured you may like this joke...

A blond is flying in a two-seater airplane with just the pilot. He has a
heart attack and dies. She is frantic and calls out a May Day.

"May Day! May Day! Help me! Help me! My pilot had a heart attack and is
dead.* And I don't know how to fly. Help me! Please help me!"

She hears a voice over the radio saying: "This is Air Traffic Control, and I
hear you loud and clear. I will talk you through this and get you back on
the ground. I've had a lot of experience with this kind of problem. Now,
just take a deep breath. Everything will be fine! Now give me your height
      and position."

She says, "I'm 5'4" and I support Obama."

"O. K." says the voice on the radio ... "Repeat after me: Our Father who art
      in Heaven ...

      Hi J J,
I must say that I'm sorry to hear about a couple of fellow airplane pilots lost their lives in Alabama. You guys have quite a job that you do and flying one of those big birds takes a lot of talent and skills. I do hope that you always have safe and uneventful flights ahead of you. I'ts all ways sad to hear of the loss of pilots. I've all ways had a fascination with air travel and wish I could have gone into the Air Force to become a pilot. Just wasn't in the stars for me.
      Take care of yourself,
      Jason

      Hi There,
How's life been to you latently, good I hope.
I was just wondering, what is your first name? It would be nice to address you by it. If you don't want to say,I understand.
In between fliying all over the world, what do you do in your'e spare time? Do you do a lot of shooting? I someday would love to get back to Texas and do some wild boar hunting. The last time I was in Texas was when I flew from Little Rock Arkansas to Houston to get on a 737-800 for a flight to Cleveland then on to Manchester N.H. The ride from LR was on a small Embraer 50 seater, then on the 737-800,then back to the Embraer. It was an awesome flight from Houston to Cleveland.I brought along my Garmin E-trex GPS and recorded an air speed of 534 and an alt of over 35K! The last first time I ever went to Houston was in 1977 to see my sister when she gave birth to my nephew. I was twelve. I can't get over how big that airport is!
Well have a good night and I look forward to hearing from you again,
      Jason

      Hi there,
Just thought I'd drop by and see how you were and to ask a few questions.
First, did the f111 come before the Tomcat?
Second, what kind of firearms do you use and what is your favorite?

Hey TXplt. From all of the comments we've posted and/or replied to in the various threads here, I have a high respect for you, and if I ever manage to actually visit Texas, however unlikely that may be, I'll have to stop by for a real chat. Nothing else to do without any public land to roam around on. :)

I do like that camo job on those T-38's. As you know I am an avid modeler and I found them interesting. I now have to buy one of the 48 scale AT-6 II I find so appealing. The kit is manufactured by a company from Israel called Ibex models. Its a limited run kit with very nice lines and would do well armored up. Thanks for the info.

If you ever get up to Indianapolis with a bit of time, holler, and we'll partake of some range time. I'm an hour and fifteen minutes north of the airport.

Have you ever read "Flying From The Black Hole"? It's written by a former B/N who flew the BUFFs to keep us ground pounders (no I wasn't there) safe. GREAT book. Had it recommended to me by another former B/N who flew some 200+ missions on his SE Asia vacation.
