The .45 budget just got blown.

Went to Sportsman's Warehouse to exchange some rings.

My buddy says he has a .12 gauge pump on clearance. I looked at him and said, "It ain't gonna happen. Getting rings and going home."

He puts it on the counter and 20 minutes later I'm setting another H&R shotgun in the front seat of the truck.

Truth is, I've been impressed with the quality of these shotguns since I got a .20 gauge. They're on the heavy side, but built solid and easy to clean. Haven't had a single issue with any manufacturer's shells or loads with either the HD or turkey gun.

Hopefully, my buddy won't pull out a .50 BMG the next time I'm in there. :D

I had to hone and polish the chamber on the one the boy bought some years back.
other than it being a bit long, barrel heavy, and a little hinky in operation it's been a pretty dependable gun.
