Hello, I was given a gift from my great grandfather. But I don't know which model, which country is made, the year of manufacture, nothing. can you help me with information? I cant open barrel but its so fragile

That appears to be a percussion muzzleloading shotgun. It is not meant to be opened as it loads from the muzzle

I am not sure if you can get any exact age on it because of not modern. Is the makers name? J. Perrins on the side lock plate? You can narrow down age a bit. I believe it says after 1840 he actually engraved his name on the side plate. Before that it was like yours I believe on the barrel only.

Under the barrel. Not side. I think write "A.T. Perrin" not Perrins
