Hello all, I have a 1903 M-S carbine that at one point had a scope mount attached to it and I would like to find out what kind of mount was on the gun and possibly get my hands on a mount and re-scope the gun as it has already unfortunately been altered.

The forward receiver ring has been dovetail cut on top for the forward mount. The rear was mounted by two screws to the left side of the rear action bridge immediately in front of the bolt release mechanism.

Any info would be appreciated, and yes, this rifle is REALLY a lot of fun to shoot.
