1956 type 56 carbine?

    so looked up my s/n to identify my type 56 and it looks like mine was made in 1956. in the Jianshe arsenal /26\ . Sense they are called the"type 56 carbine" I was wandering the rarity of rifles made in 56. I was thinking they are probably the most made but compared to production of other years im not sure. Can someone school me on the sequence of sks value? Im a noob to this platform. Its very interesting to me. a lot like identifying my mausers and mosins.

    Depends on the demand in your area and the condition of the rifle.
    They can normally average $300 to $500 on the current market. Pretty good increase in value as they commanded a price of $70-80 ten years ago.
