Is there a revolver made that handles 22 Hornet? Thanks for your answer Hank45
Taurus Made one for a while. I think it was called the "Raging Hornet" or something like that.
Yea, Raging Hornet. I'm looking for one.
Bottleneck cartridges don't work well in revolvers. When fired they are forced back against the backing plate and then the shoulder/neck stretches and after 1 to 3 rnds the cylinder won't turn or turns hard. This is true with .17HMR too except not as bad because they are much lower CUP than a Hornet.I do have experience with the Hornet but not the >17HMR/Mach2.The rimfires must be decent as several revolvers,Ruger,Taurus, and S&W chamber for them.I have fired a couple of them and don't remember any problems.I would still advise researching further before investing in one. ,,,sam.
Magnum Research has the BFR
BFR: Magnum Research ,,,Just trying to help Cass, not take your post. ,,,sam.
There were a couple of older revolver rounds that were bottle necks, too, but as mentioned above, it generally doesn't work well.
