Through some swappin' & tradin' with my son, I wound up with a S&W 629-1, .44 Magnum hand gun. I don't mind the recoil as long as I only shoot a few rounds, but I like shootin' a bunch. So I decided to reload for it.
My question is, Is the .44 Special to the .44 Magnum like the .38 Special to the .357 Magnum?
I think it is but have seen S&W .44 Russian (black powder), and .44 Special in load manuals and just want to be sure.
