with the pressure developed in the .454, driving a bullet about 1" before contacting the forcing cone and then about 1/2" before hitting the riflings might lead to difficulties. sam
I believe a Taurus has a choke that tames the spread on shot,seems like I read about it.As I recall they fired the .45 Colt through it and it didnt blow up.I'll try to find the article.Hope someone else knows about it. sam.
