Ok been loading up some Starling brass with Hornaday XTP bullets....Lee dies....all the rounds feed and fire great....BUT about half of them require me to press on the slide to close it the last 1/8 inch so it will fire....my OAL is shorter than factory ammo that works fine....could it be to light of a crimp???? or just keep seating the bullets deeper until they all work?

Its the crimp run them through the seating die once more if you need a tighter crimp than the seating die will give take the punch out of the sizer and and gently run the case up it will provide a factory crimp to the cases.

It's your crimp, or you are loading too light. Are these fairly robust loads, or are you downloading the cartridge? The CZ 52's action is fairly ammunition sensitive when compared to a Tokarev.
