I just acquired an original 1903 springfield CURVED stock- STILL SEALED in its original 1957 packing. (no box)-

there is a label(note) on the packing that reads:

B003-1005-652-8366
Stock
1 ea
Cv 051880
Pkgd by: rd-a-1-11/57

Only has one small tear in the paper packing around it(the original tapes are still there)- so I was able to peek in and it looks awesome.

Is it more desirable to people if its still sealed in wrapping paper or should I open it and take pictures of the stock or ??

What would you think this could possibly go for?
