    Thanks, unfortunately in order to see them you have to get outside of town away from all the lights so I'll miss the show since the doctor grounded me

    According to former G&G member living in the Boise area, did not see it because of cloud cover.:( When ever there has been a celestial event happening my sky's also clouded over, or storms block the view.:mad:

    I saw them years ago in southern Michigan !! It was quite a show !!!!!!!!!!!:):)

    Once, just once, I saw the Northern lights in Wisconsin. But during my Alaska cruise, nothing. Why couldn't the sun burp while I was way up north?

    Were you smoking funny things...like the Kid Rock song says??? He was in Upper Michigan but southern Michigan is close enough.

    plenty of stars and even some of the milky appearance from looking back through the universe.
    I seen ataris [sp?] [the beating heart in the scorpion] a flashing red star.
    but I only went in the back yard.

    we seen the northern lights this far south back in the late 70's but not since then that I can remember.
