More specifically, I'm interested in loading some Bismuth for duck loads. Any one done it? What kind of hull do you use? How does a game warden look at the loaded cartridge and tell it's loaded with Bismuth?

Used to be a t the beginning of non-tox, they could use a magnet. That was before the shells were marked as they are now.

Do you know who has dedent load data for Bismuth?

Can't help you. The only shotshells I have reloaded where light skeet loads and that was years ago.

I go through a lot of trap loads, but haven't tried anything like Steel or Bismuth yet.

THE SHOT ON A STRING WAS USED IN THE 40'S AND 50'S UNTIL IT WAS OUTLAWED. WORKED FINE ON DEER AND WOULD CONTROL SPREAD ON ANY TARGET.
