The hardware store here in OTZ had high velocity remington short's selling for $4.99 an box the next box over was high velocity CCI's for $3 , Federal .22 brick of 500rds for $58 all this and 6% tax.
No wonder why eskimo's are pretty good shots they gotta be!
How bad has ammo gone up in your parts of the world?
  2. I still pay $15 a box at walmart for Federals 550 value pack.

$12 for the 500/550 value packs at Walmart. I'm pretty sure $2 a box of 50 shorts. No competition there or is that typical?

Best deal in town for Bricks.

The only place Ive been able to get bricks was selling Federal plinko stuff for $39 a brick.
he was selling CCI factory rejects for $17 for a box of 200
these were std velocity .22 target ammo that had not passed muster.

I think about $18 for a brick of Federal 550. I have more .22LR in my locker than a man could probably shoot in a lifetime so I haven't checked in a while.
  13. Wow I better go out and get some, I had no Idea it went up that much.

Rex- Were they CCI Seconds he was selling as "rejects" ?? If so, go buy them !! CCI Seconds didn't make the cut for overall length to be "Match" ammo. They shoot dang good !! WE ARE PAYING $26 FOR A BRICK.
