how are you doing today ? my friend
Very well. Thanks for asking. The last of our children has moved from Texas to Wyoming. My grandson does not like the snow. I told him it is hard to track elk and moose without it.
thats right ! we dont harly ever see snow here in temple,tx.
auto correct ! we dont hardly ever see snow in temple,tx.
I doubt you ever have to trail Elk or Moose in Temple? It has been a long winter here in the Northern Rockies. A week in Corpus would be nice. It will be 75 degrees today. Have a nice day.
Jim I know many of the Arisaka type 99's were converted to 3006. I have two that were sporterized but caliber is still 7.7. I bought them already done
Yes, You are referring to a rechamber and barrel set back. Many of the Type 38 rifles were rechambered to .257 Roberts. Problem a .257 bullet in a .264 bore? The rechambered 7.7 Jap required the .30-06 case to be loaded with a .311-.312 bullet to fit the Arisaka Bore. The 7.7 brass is available no need to rechamber the Jap rifles.
