Howdy everyone. I have a question for all you owners or fans of the Baby Eagle series. I bought my first gun, a Baby Eagle .40 and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. My question is, what kind of loads does anyone recommend over anything else? I've read a lot of articles saying that 165gr loads are better suited for .40's than a 180gr. load. I guess I wanted to check with some users and get their opinions rather than listening to one perticular article.

This is the article. I would tend to believe it since it's supported with some good charts.

picking a load is a personal thing , i like the 165's, but try a few and find one thats both reliable and accurate in your gun , and stick with it. or load your own.

Ok, sounds good. I'll give a couple a try. Statisticly though, 165gr are better for overall performance? Velocity, energy....that type of stuff.......what is your experience?

    Thanks for your reply!
