Beef Jerky

    Anyone here ever make any? What were your recipes?

    I made some at BS camp one year. takes about 6 hours and some good coals. (keep fire going so as to replenish coals)

    Used some teriaki marinade and some in a tobasco/vodka/soy sauce. turned out ok especially when he added crushed cayeane pepper to it afterwards.

    Next ones I will use some of the Lowry's sauces.

    I'm curious how jerky comes out in one of those dehydration units they sell at Cabelas and other outdoor stores, anyone?
