So... is the Bersa Thunder 9 compact Pro & the Taurus 111 Pro series the same gun?
No, they're completely different guns. The Mini 9 Firestorm is almost the same with a couple of small differences (Bersa changed the name and added a rail, changed the triggerguard shape, etc.
They're really good little guns and the 9mm is the best of the bunch-I carry a Mini 9 in a Galco Professional 100 IWB holster almost every day.
I have not had any experience with a Bersa but I love the shape of the guns and the price tells me that it's made with quality materials. My experience with Taurus, more than one, has all been negative so I wouldn't buy one or even compare it with a Bersa.
How do you figure they are the same gun?
Genitron.com: Comparing 2 Guns|Thunder 9|Millennium Pro PT-111|
the internals, disassembly,etc.
Not even close....
How could you come to that conclusion at all?
The Taurus is Striker Fired.
The Bersa is a DA/SA with an external Hammer....
Internals are not the same at all.
Disassembly is completely different.
Oh, and the fact that the Bersa is a decent gun, whereas Taurus makes junk.
The internals, takedown etc do like alike. atleast the one that Im looking at. Maybe it a Taurus dressed up like a Bersa. Who knows . Thanks! Or maybe it has been Bubbaized.
