In the past I used a microwave oven to warm day-old fried fish. The fish came out warm but not crisp. Not what you want for a fish sandwich. Yesterday I used the toaster-oven and set the timer on the toast setting, talk about perfect crisp hot fried fish for a sandwich! Just put tarter sauce on bread, add a thin slice of onion, then a crispy fish filet and you have a GREAT FISH SANDWICH!
