Only the idiots will run right down to register their guns.

This is AMERICA, not England, not Australia, not Canada, not France, not Russia, and certainly not Mexico.

If the Jackoff Partei attempts to adhere to their stated platform for this election, I think they will find themselves on the wrong side of the Final Solution to the Democratic Partei in America. As has been noted, this is not Britain, Australia, or New Zealand. We are AMERICANS, and we will NOT put up with the government trying to gut the Constitution.

I had to go get fingerprints done today for an NFA tax stamp. There was a small line of people ahead of me there. Every single person in the line was there for fingerprints for either MD or out of state CCW permits if that tells you something.

Obviously we're all voting and all voting/have voted for Trump (as well as speaking to and encouraging our family, neighbors, and friends to do so). So if Kameltoe and friend get elected it wasn't anything we had any control over; I think most of us have done everything we can up to this point. So other than being resolved NEVER to be involved in such silliness I'm not sure what more we can do at this stage. I think most folks are as armed up as they can get with no single-point failure nodes in their matrix.

I don't know anyone who would actually DO this; if so I guess if someone plays along they deserve whatever happens to them. But if the day comes they try to force it on us and actually do something about it that's the day of the gun grab and most of us will be giving whatever we have to whomever tries to take it 55, 62, 64, 77, 110, 120, or 200-ish grains at a time.

It tells ME a great deal. I suspect it tells Bidumb, Cameltoe, and the Democratic National Committee nothing, because they are too bleeping blind to see.

What it tells me is that most folks will grumble about this or that being wrong, unconstitutional, etc....and then comply.
The boiling frog is getting hotter every day. I foresee a time in the future when “shall not be infringed” is considered fulfilled if one can still own the gov’t approved single shot 22lr, after having gone through the proper hoops, and proving you have never had so much as a speeding ticket. People will grumble but comply when that happens, and the next generation will consider it normal. Then they will enact a 10 round on-hand storage limit for that gun, and that generation will grumble but comply. And the next generation will consider that normal. See how that works?

If it comes to drastic measures. I see a lot of middle aged - older men and women who have had good lives, raised their kids and enjoyed the Freedoms we were granted taking one for the team.
I’ve said it before. I’ve had a good life. If the sun don’t shine tomorrow, so be it. Better than going out with a chest grabber I suppose.

    I totally agree!

The problem is that once the Baby Boomer generation dies off, there will be no "Old Guard" to show the youngsters the folly of their compliance to tyranny.

Just look how fast they all think it's O.K., by tacitly approving, or shrugging their shoulders and saying "no one will resist, they will just grumble and comply."

I wrote this and read it at a county meeting called by the County Executive to protest Il Duce Cuomo's ramming his UnSAFE Act through the state legislature in the middle of the night. I was inspired by Pastor Martin Niemoller's immortal anti-Nazi poem, "First They Came ..."

First they came for the Communists,
    And I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the Social Democrats,
    And I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Social Democrat.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
    And I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the jews,
    And I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the Catholics,
    And I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Catholic.

And then they came for me,
But by then there was no one left to speak out.

As applied to the anti-gun movement in the United States, I believe it should go like this:

First they came for the full-auto firearms,
    And I didn't speak out because I didn't own a machine gun.

They they came for the inexpensive pistols,
And I didn't speak out because I didn't own a Saturday Night Special.

Then they came for high capacity magazines,
And I didn't speak out because I didn't own any banana clips.

Then they came for the hobbyist Class 1 Federal Firearms Licensees,
    And I didn't speak out because I didn't have a Class 1 FFL.

Then they came for the "evil black rifles,"
And I didn't speak out because I did not own an AR or an AK.

Then they came for all semi-automatic rifles and pistols,
And I didn't speak out because all I owned were bolt actions and revolvers.

Then they came for all the rest of the privately owned firearms,
But by then none of us DARED to speak out.
