  1. I have a Mk V Delux in .378 and was wondering what type of recoil suppressors might be suitable for it, other than a brake or porting.
Have heard of a tripple magnum pad and was wondering how good they were.
Not concerned about increasing the length of pull as it's a tad short as it is.

  2. What do you shoot "down under" that needs a .378WM?

Sounds like what ever it is, he only has to shoot it once.
I was looking at those pads yesterday, about $40.00. Supposed to be good, although I have never used one.

you might also try a mercury recoil reducer in the buttstock.

The best pad for absorbing recoil is the Kickeze trap model, it's made from sorbothane and is 1.4" thick. For bench shooting get a Past Mag-Plus recoil shield that straps onto your shoulder. They both work better than anything else I've tried, other than a 25# bag of shot behind the gun which is a real balancing act.
The only reason to ever again buy a Pachmayer RC pad is if you just have to have whiteline spacers. The Kickeze is a better product hands down, easier to finish, less mess to clean up, good looking, and better recoil absorbsion.
