I HAVE A BRAND NEW RUGER REDHAWK BLUED FINISH, 7 1/2 INCH BARREL WITH SCOPE RING GROOVES. NEED SUGGESTIONS ON WHICH SCOPE TO GET, WHAT GRIPS TO GET, AND GENERAL TWEAKING SUCH AS TRIGGER AND ACTION JOBS. WHO HAS ONE OF THESE, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST? THANKS. :right:

Hogue grips are great. Pachmayers are huge and have a split along the finger-grooves that can hurt! The best guy for Redhawk information I know is Karl Sokol of Chestnut Mt. Sports. He is not online and doesn't have e-mail. You can reach him between 3-5PM EST at (802) 438-5732. I have two Redhawks done by him and I have to say, they are just great! Mention to him that you saw his # on GunandGame.com. I've been trying to get him to get online and be a guest moderator, hope he does! He'd make a great addition. He can also give you advice if you are looking to do some minor tweaking on your own.

I sell alot of redhawks. The only thing they need is a scope if you want it.
I will admit that in the 454 and 480 you may want to change the grip so your not getting your finger knocked around with the recoil. But these are by far the best out of the box wheel guns out there. not much needs to be done to it.
