Is there a Chart that show how much the bullet drop's at certain distance's?
Check out Remington.com
go to products, ammo, ballistics
very good information
I cant find my exact rifle, so would it be fair too compare it too the
.300 Ultra Mag when mine is just a MAgnum, cant be any diffrent..
it is different especally at longer ranges 500 yards plus the difference is 16 or so inches and spreading the farther out you go... if under 500 yards like 1-200 there will be a 2-3 inch diff. 3-500 yards more like 6-9 inch difference... this is assuming the same bullet weight and the 300 win mag and 300 rum...
With the same bullet shape and weight, it is totally dependent upon velocity.
Yes and no
Yes, there are ballistics charts out there and Remington has some really good data.
No, these are very good guidelines but it is best to know what your rifle does with a specific load as variations in performance do exist from one rifle to another. There is no substitute for doing the shooting and checking out the results and this is especially true as ranges increase.
yes and no, they do make them but it more of a baseline for you to make your own off of. every rifle and load is different
.300 Win Mag? .300 Wthby Mag? .300 H&H Mag?? Details man, details...
