We have two other important -- and quite fascinating -- foreign stories
tonight. We might introduce the first with a question: Which country --
after Israel and Egypt -- receives more foreign aid from the U.S. than any
other? The answer is Colombia, where they are having a presidential
election this weekend. There are two points to make in our piece from
Bogota tonight: First, there may never have been a campaign quite this
dangerous -- complete with assassination attempts and the kidnapping of a
prominent candidate; second, this vote matters enormously to the United
States, not only because of all that U.S. money, but because, as one
candidate has said to an American reporter: "I know you have big problems
in the Middle East and Afghanistan. But this is your backyard. And your
backyard is on fire." Jeffrey Kofman reports tonight from Bogota.

My backyard has no coffee beans or cocoa plants!!

I've got 'maters, peppers, spinach, carrots and canteloupe!!!!!
    lots of canteloupe coming.

Why do we send so much money down there?

Is it a strategic location? or just a good place to send our spec ops for some "live fire" training?

I don't understand the deal with Colombia, I don't know why it is so important. Can someone help me?

Yep, a scoped Barret on a thirty foot tower could cover a lot of territory. Very cost effective. Good practice before shipping out to the 'stan.

hey I got it maybe all our buddies there in TX can get the towers mapped out and those of you here in this area could all meet at barret and convince them to donate some M82's for the cause I am sure we can find some guys with the 101st who would love the target practice
