Canada: Gun registry debate will continue after defeat

    A Conservative motion to kill the 15-year-old federal program failed when the New Democrats joined the Liberals and the Bloc Québécois. The bill was defeated 153 to 151.Ross Faulkner, the owner of the Gun Dealer in McAdam, said he's disappointed with the vote's outcome but he doesn't believe it will halt the debate over the gun registry.
