I am looking at buying a yugo sks model 59/66. I have been told that replacing the stock on this particular gun is a problem. just wondering if anyone has put a folding stock on this model weapon, or any other stock for that matter. were there problems?. was there any gunsmithing needed to be done? . Thanks for your input

if you find a decent stock it really shouldn't. The Yugo has a weird problem, at least mine, that involves reassembling it. the trigger assembly is really picky and doesn't like to snap back. a slight dremel job fixed it for me.

Spend the money on a good one, i prefer the wood, but the synthetic ones do actually help with accuracy, so I've heard.
