Oh yeah. I've an old Red Nine that's one of my favorite shooters. It's not as accurate as the .30 Mauser caliber, but still fun. I've seen a few of the Chinese clones, not very well made. The .45 version, though, seems to be an exception. Made by a warlord named Shansi, I think- very good fit and finish. I'd love to have one- there's a company called IAR that sells them for around $1000.00
Yeah, Jesse- the Model 712 Scnellfeuer. They came with 20 and 50 round mags. They also made some carbines with a 13.2 inch barrel. Hook on the wood buttstock and you have a butt-whompin little firearm if you can find one , afford it , then risk hurting its value by firing it. Of course, I guess the guys that can afford to pay $25,000 for a toy don't really care about that sort of thing.
