civillian style m1??

    i heard about these and i have a carbine and was told that it was a civillian style? would a normal stock fit on mine?:hmmm:

    As long as it's not a late Universal model, a GI stock will fit.

    its a winchester without a bayo lug and it has the adjustible sight after 48 i think its not like the gi stocks ive seen the front stock mount is different and it has a cheek pad. put i need a new stock cuz its a left handed stock and im not left handed do u know where i could find one?

    If it's a Winchester it is a GI carbine. A GI stock can be found at quite a few places. Look in Shotgun News. Usually go for around $40.00. The front barrel bands come in different types,narrow,wide,and with bayonet lug. You may also need a top handguard,they are wood. The early ones had a "flip" rear sight,later ones have adjustable sights. Does the one you have look like a ramp that the peep slides on,and a windage knob on the right? Also,look at the barrel just behind the front sight,should have a maker and date stamp. HTH.
