I bought my first pair of mountain lights in 1997 for hiking on Mt. Rainier. Wore them through 3 sets of soles until I thought I had lost them moving or something. So I bought another pair about 7 years ago. Wouldn't ya know that I found the old pair soon after, still good to go. So I have two pair of hikers to switch off with, and of course my required steel toe boots for work are Danners.
