Does anyone know if Marlin ever produced a .22 Magnum under the Glenfield name? I have searched Gun Broker, and Guns America, and even several failed attempts of gleaning this question out of Google.

But every time, the Glenfield 25 pops up with the word magazine shortened to mag. But I have failed to find even one example. Am I missing something here or did Marlin reserve the magnum rounds to just their premium rifles?

I do not think that Glenfield name has a .22WMRF chambering...I do know that the Marlin Model 25M is a decent .22WMRF

Glenfield was Marlin's economy line. The .22WMR would be more a premium gun, so no, I doubt there was ever a Glenfield in .22WMR. In my thirty years of being a gun enthusiast, and Marlin collector, I've never heard of one.
But, I have been known to be wrong on rare occasions.

around 1967, one of my younger brothers had a Glenfield .22 semi auto, (don't remember the mod. #) it was a real jam o matic. thats my only experience with Glenfields. I hear they have improved since then. I do have and like very much, a Marlin 25 and a 25M. the 25M is VERY accurate.

@big shrek, can you answer the question in post #1 about whether Marlin produced a 22WMR under the Glenfield brand? Seems I remember that you shared a long list of those 3rd party models that Marlin produced one time. Thanks in advance young man.

OK, no Glenfields, but there was a few Sears...
Sears 103.19880/881/890 = Marlin 57/.22LR/.22Mag
Sears 103.273 = Marlin 782 OR Marlin 980 dependant on year.
Sears 44DLM = Marlin 57M

And Western Auto
Western Auto 103.19890 = Marlin57M
Western Auto 103.273 = Marlin 980
Western Auto 116-2276 = Marlin 57M

Hope that helps! :)
