Gentlemen,
These two files show by Line Drawing and Text one of the steps in rebuilding the Rear Sight. I hope you find these of interest. They also show Acceptable parts as shown.

Some of these posted before. Others are new data files.
Warning, before you go to my sites lower your volume as the opening page contains a sound file which has a loading and firing of the M1 Garand. So if you're at work or home it may be wise to check your volume control.
If you need a better copy just email me.

Gentlemen you know what to do. Not going great but some guys have bought Vol. 1 or Vol. 2 of the Garand Papers. TIA
Thanks again

M1D,
No the files are war time. The M1C was used in WW2 and as early as 1944 Ordnance was working on YOU the M1D

Ed,

I know both the M1C and the M1D where "on stock" in 1944 but I never heard stories about the use of the M1C during WW2. I thought because of the non availability of scopes they didn't see action then.
Because of the great refurbishing action during the post ww2 years, I thought these files are from that era:)
