I just got an Enfield .410 and I was taking it apart to re-finish it, and I can't get the butt stock screw to move...the one up inside the stock...it just won't budge, and I am afraid to force it in fear of breaking something. There is a little play side to side in the stock, so I think the screw is loose, but it's jammed up...anyone have any thoughts on what I should do?

Maybe a few dabs of penetrating oil on the end of the screw in the butt socket where the back of the forestock used to be? I am assuming the .410 is built like any other enfield.

Thanks, that worked well...I found a little cork like plug on top of the bolt that I didn't see before, that was part of the problem...anyway, thanks.
