Well now that you mentioned it.

Shoot 'Em Up starring Clive Owen?

    Equilibrium starring Christian Bale.

Collateral is a good movie too with Tom Cruise. Say what you will about Tom but I think he did a good job in that movie.

Heat with Al Pachino and Robert DiNiro

Hard Boiled with Chow Yun Fat

    those are my suggestions

I really want to see "Shoot 'Em Up". I hear it was the most over-the-top movie ever created. When it comes to shoot 'em up movies, the more violence and less plot, the better.

I really like all the Die Hard and Leathal Weapon movies. I recently saw Shooter, and that was pretty good.

Any Clint Eastwood movie, but I really like the Dirty Harry movies. Also like the old war movies. The Dirty Dozen, The Enemy Below, etc..... Almost forgot about John Wayne!

You know,........ you watch them today and you can tell they didn't spend much money making them, but back then they were great! Almost forgot Charles Bronson! Yep, I'll be 52 on May the 18th.
  8. Full Metal Jacket . . .

    . . . as it dealt with so much more . . .

John Wayne movies. Not as "shoot 'em up" as what you mentioned, but that's what I like.

I think ya'll listed most of my favorites, so that makes it easy for me!
  19. For non stop action beginning to end I like The Rundown. Another of my favorites is Full Metal Jacket. BOOM BOOM you lon tine. The Alien vs Predator Requiem was good for a new movie. 28 days later for a zombie movie was ok. For non stop killin the Resident Evil movies are good.

Extreme Prejudice (Powers Booth and a great cast)
The Wild Bunch (William Holden, Ernie Borgnine)
Smokin' Aces (newer, but it has a Barret .50 at work ya gotta see)
    +1 on Predator
And for the old pieces, I'd have to vote for Silverado.
